Serve the shredded beef on sandwich rolls with optional cheese. Ladle the cooking broth into small bowls for dipping.
Helpful Tips
-
Keep the beef moist: Cover the roast while it cools to prevent it from drying out.
-
Choose your favorite rolls: Most of my family prefers a crustier roll, but I like a softer one. Ciabatta bread is a great alternative if you can't find sub-style sandwich rolls.
-
Storing leftovers: Add a little au jus (the cooking broth) to the shredded beef before refrigerating to help keep it moist.
