Notes
Milk alternative: Replace 2 cups buttermilk with 1 3/4 cups plain milk if desired.
Servings:Â The number of servings will adjust based on the size of your waffle iron. The recipe yields 3 cups of batter. The nutrition calculations were based on 1 cup of batter.
Individual variations: When you want pecan waffles, your daughter wants blueberry waffles, & your husband just wants plain waffles, you can make everyone happy with one batch of batter! After pouring batter onto the iron, sprinkle on blueberries, pecans, or even chocolate chips before closing the lid.
